The DynoLog dyno is used to simulate road conditions. It is particularly useful for diagnosing engine management problems on newer vehicles. Using the DynoLog dyno enables the technician to pinpoint problems, for example inadequate fuel flow, poorly flowing injectors and ignition problems. The DynoLog dyno is the only accurate means for setting up carburettor mixtures on older vehicles. Power readings can also be obtained to compare before and after tuning performance and gauge improvements. Performance modifications can also improve fuel consumption.
A Mainline DynoLog Dynamometer represents a distinct step forward in dynamometer technology. While other manufacturers have continued to produce equipment that simply measures torque/power, speed, air-fuel Ratio and little else for the last ten years or more, Mainline DynoLog Dynamometers has led the way in adapting the chassis dyno from a simple measuring device to being a highly sophisticated diagnostic instrument.
